Administrativno pripada op\u0161tini Zemun.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Ostrvo je nastalo talo\u017eenjem peska, granja i \u0161ljunka koje su reke nanosile. Pre Drugog svetskog rata, Malo ratno ostrvo je bilo zna\u010dajno ve\u0107e i stabilnije od Velikog ratnog ostrva. Tokom izgradnje Novog Beograda, pesak sa Malog ratnog ostrva je kori\u0161\u0107en za nasipanje mo\u010dvarnog tla na kojem je novi grad gra\u0111en.
